YR-GAD L.A.R.E.S. ROMANIA DC 2 bought by Roumania were seized by FARR during the war and used for military transport.

Roumania was the first East-European country to buy Boeing 707 for the State company TAROM in 1964 and to start a direct line Bucharest-New York.
LARES The first Roumanian paratroops were equipped first in 1940 with US made IRWIN paraschutes, later assimilated and produced in Roumania.
LARES used DC 3 in Roumanian civil colours for internal and international transport during the war.
Some B24 recovered after Ploiesti raids supplied pieces for the rebuild of at least 3 aircrafts. They received Roumanian colours and inmatriculation and were prepared to form a squadron of heavy bombers during the war. They were all destroyed in August 1944.
YR-ABA TAROM
YR-BRO TAROM is equipped with Boeing 737-300 aircrafts since 1993 for medium courrier tasks. Some parts of the plane were produced in Roumania.
